just reading into it it says 2 piece leathers zip all way round mine only hooks the things together at back ffs no textiles also no metal knee or toe sliders does that mean cnt use my boots that have toe sliders
Are they metal? And yes, one piece leathers or two piece with full zip. Textiles? You would seriously do a track day in textiles????
My leathers only have that small attach zip at back n toe sliders plastic Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
Its a maybe. Did it last year and the february weather turned out alright. Ill have to see what pennies are available house purchase goes theough in january. Plastic toe sliders are fine. Youll need a zip to go at least 3/4 of the way round. Try andelle leathers see if they could put you a longer zip on.
yep as per ANT , the zip has to be a min of three quarters the way round , defo no metal,,,,,its due to the sparks putting other people behind off apparently ..which makes sense....i did a trackday at oulton few years back with some titanium in the slider,,it was like an angle grinder on every corner...the instructors soon had me pulled over and i was made to change them ...
were you going for the ACU test Kev. it can be done at Oulton now on some trackdays with an ACU instructor ,,is their still a theory section re the flags and all the health and safety stuff?
Its at Oulton mate, yes its theory, medical and track assesement all in one day. The u send ur application !
im not sure Kev,it be best to find out though cos if you want to race in 2014. you will need to get a novice entry into races so will be required to have a membership....try Preston and District ,the run races at 3 sis, or the wirral, they use Oulton and Angelsey, AIntree and District obvioulsy use Aintree. think quite a few beginners use Preston and District and hone their skills at 3 sis http://www.prestondmc.co.uk have fun keep safe
think i might do this. was ok this year, we had a nice dry day, wasn't t-shirt weather but wasn't that cold. lfckev/winkmaster, you can join a club without a acu licence, but you can't get a acu licence without being a member of a club.
