it was an 08 blade wasn't it???
saw a guy in garage 16 with a totally wrecked blade... he got carried away with the grip of his wets but panicked at the right hander at the end of pit lane and binned in style.
he said it just wouldn't stop...... tbh thats probably the problem.... the idea is NOT to stop, but just shave a bit of speed off and attempt the bend.
if he was going too fast and slammed on in panic, this is what happens!

back end was completely destroyed, no subframe left, seat unit in a million pieces, tank cover holed, left clip on & clutch res fkt..
    repairable, but not cheap lol
he said the front end was ok, but imo if it's had enough a bang to snap the clip on, the chocolate honda yokes will be bent beyond repair.... i think he'll be surprised at the handling if he doesnt change them lol

the bloke was walking )sort of) & said his back was a bit sore but i could tell he was hurting lol.... his mrs didnt look impressed at all.
especially when he said it'll be back together for cadwell next mth [IMG]

every time i turn up to watch & see it's dry i wish i'd signed up.

could well have been, it was seriously motoring past me on pit wall. then he hit the brakes, rear end was hopping everywhere and he was destined for the wet grass. he bounced a few times but got back up.
saw the meat waggon fetch a bike in next to my mates garage and it was a CBR6 which again was totaly scrap. every panel gone, tank knackered, subframe snapped, swingarm bent, wheel buckled, front ruined. and the funniest thing you could see was the battery hanging down still attached and a b*st*rd datatool system3 still attached and the led (hanging loose - tail unit was dust) still flashing ffs.
however i did think it was a different bike that came past pit wall at warp 9, so the blade is far more likely.

so the wets were no good on wet grass then :bruised:

Daz you might be faster doesnt mean we cannot go in the fast group, I have done it twice once at Oulton and the other at Cadwell. It's about the safest way I think, seemed to be a lot of different speeds today pal. If you were there you would know what I mean, people leathering it into corners and then going round like driving Miss Daisy.

The lad on the CBR was very lucky I was behind when he went down, he seemed ok but he went down the straight like a banchee.

The last session of the morning five bikes went down, one on the sighting lap and four other two laps in. Seriously there were some indifferent riding syles out there.

When are u and Dayo going to get some discs for your wets, wearing out some expensive rubber out when its dry. they do deteriate quickly. could be why so many riders were at a differrnt pace.

    Hi ya pal,

It wasnt a case of getting discs, the track was still damp/wet at a few areas. It would of been good for intermidiate tyres to be honest.

The wets only started to chew up on the last session, mine are good for a few good wet sessions.

Nice to meet you again and the stinkwheel looked good.
