Well certainly chose the worst day for it, first session was dry and then a few part wet/dry sessions in the morning with lots of yellow and red flagged sessions … and then it was raining proper. One of the sessions in the afternoon got red flagged as the conditions were too bad. Everyone was already out on wets by then, too wet for wets! LOL . After they had hovered some of the monsoon up they allowed everyone out again. Bit of a disappointment really but the afternoon was good in a different way Winkmaster/Walshy we had a walk down the garages looking for you, was looking for a red BMW but couldn’t find you.
I think we were in garage 18, I was on my red/purple cbr, Dave on his mega slow BMW srr and a lad on a gixxer 750!
I got washed away lol ......... Two really good dry morning sessions, then just before lunch ,when we had that slight drizzle, Had some horrendous rear wheel spinning down the start finish straight. I thought what the f*ck ! Every time I opened it up it spun, then I remember I'd turned the traction control off .....lol I knew it was time to leave early when I saw the marshals go to collect a dropped Ducati at Druids ! They went out in a rubber dinghy . When I got home I took the data logging chip off of the bike and uploaded it! The front wheel was doing 135 mph but the rear was doing 151 ! So I knew it was spinning lol
That was the best part of the day once it was properly wet, no red flags after that :thumbsup: Have you had a look at the photo's? Im not impressed, was hoping to get some different ones sploshing about it the rain and not a single one! He's cleared off as soon as it started raining properly
