Just got back from a good days track riding at Oulton with No Limits, well run day and best of all, it stayed dry  I will load the video up later on this evening? See you lads who are going to Oulton next Tuesday
how you going to do that nobhead, ive got the camera  was a cracking day weatherwise, wouldve been out there meself but for work.... looking forward to tuesday bud  you're definately wasted in the novice group tho chap.
just had a look at the sd card.... you recorded a 7sec clip of your head, then a 11 sec clip of your glove, then 18mins & 26mins from the last 2 sessions. uploading it to vimeo atm, will add links heresoon as it's live  @nel, you do know it's only £65 on tuesday?
Session three from today at Oulton Park, I get held up by a few in the corners, skip the vid for the first five minutes as they are just sighting laps. http://vimeo.com/16798724 Cheers
I do love Oulton park, nice vid. You using the clutch lever to change up? it sounds like you very slightly slip the clutch and you change up, just a little to early on the lever. I may be wrong as i am very old and my hearing is shot. Good vid though, like the way you did the R1 into Old Hall.
Whooooooooaahh ! Easy on that throttle..almost had a very embarrasing moment leaving pitlane !! good work fella
Yeah it was a bit of a moment, I adjusted the play I had on my throttle so that there was none, forgot and nearly ditched the bike :banghead: I do tend to do that with my clutch on the up change, can I shift up without it. By letting off the revs and shifting up, you could on my KTM but I have never tried it on the ZX. There are a few shitty bits on there but I have only been riding for seven months so I cant be that hard on myself, looking forward to Tuesday as I will be able to pick up a lot of advice off the guys who are going.
you can shift up without the clutch wot if you want bud. not a good idea into 2nd like, but higher gears will be ok. on mine i just dab the clutch to change unless i'm bimbling round town. you can downshift without the clutch with a bit of practice. should be there about 7 meself  hope it's dry cos im on supercorsas - dont want to ride the kwak yet til i know its bob on. zx has got storm ultras which would be ideal if its a bit wet.
Your going well mate-get an instructor to show you the right apex/lines and you'll whack 5 sec's a lap off! also a good tip a guy told me and dayo was to turn your tickover up quite high-this way when your coming back on the gas it doesnt jerk so much-takes a bit of getting used to but a great tip!
Eddie just rang me and reminded me of this post, pretty to good to see what it was all about a few years ago. My concept of riding has changed somewhat, but I really enjoyed watching the video, see everyone can do it, if they want too.
