You need to enlighten VVTR , Not sure about the roads from where he live to the fish, but the roads to last few venues from where I live havent exactly been amazing, and certainly there are some of the best roads in the country in this area what say you Village

I am not suggesting that a long run is appropriate but many of these roads are around the area and a shorter route would be possible if people wanted a run out, I remember when I was on L plates that Village lead an ( short but interesting )NWB run around the area cant recall who came along but I recall digger, furious,Lou, where there. I remember another occasion Lister came over to test the roads so if you need convincing ask them?

For my bit I dont mind travelling to meets I regularly travelled over to the tap and scotch on my 125 a round journey of over 100 miles to meet up, and I also did one particular run around wales on my 125 that took in 600 miles.

There has not yet been a meet over here and Yet whenever a trip over this side is mentioned I hear complaints tut tut man up boys

Hahaha yes it was too short wasn't it. Something came up and I embarrassingly fecked off!!! :blush:

 

If its a Saturday meet its a no from me i've got my kids then. I'd love a trip out somewhere other than the normal places like the scotch, tap, mmc etc. The run we had round Wales was brilliant loved that thanks daz. But weekends I'm stuck to Sundays only.

Fine by me but it's gotta be said the ride from west or south of Manchester is bobbins. Not so back if you're coming from Yorkshire.

I'll be going up to the north side of Bolton, down the Grane Road and through the valley via Tod if I can make it.

 

It's not the long run guys n gals you have missed the point, it's the cold dark nights. Make it a weekend during the day it's not a problem.

If this was the summer we wouldn't be having this discussion I'd be there

deffo needs to be a weekend job, its too dark too early now. how about a sat/sunday then a ride into yorkshire?

 

What about saturday the 6th october meet at 11.00 have some lunch... then for the people that want a ride in to yorkshire
