Definitely an A road run to Blackpool. I friggin hate motorways. From the pub down a by-pass to Preston, then past Kirkham to to the start of the illuminations

sound lee, im in st helens, but i work in prescot and dont finish till 6pm so dont wanna hold anyone up, im gonna go through burscough way straight from work.......the map shows it on the croston bends so i shopuld find it easy enough
Mozz, The pub is about three miles out of Croston on Runshaw Lane, euxton. Also there are some road closures in Croston at the moment and I think you may have to follow a diversion (more bloody twisty roads) around Croston. My number in case anyone gets lost is 07711 207581

Dave the croston ends are closed ! As you approach from rufford the road is shut! You need to carry on to the main lights. Due a right, over the bridge, then down to the roundabout, where you go left! I think there are lots of diversion signs out .
