I wanted to tidy the rear of the bike up, so Iv seen a few uk bikes on the the Internet with their number plates infront of the shock so Iv moved mine not so far, I just wanted to know ( if any of you know) is it illegal where iv put mine, it's got a number plate light and it doesn't interfere with the tyre on load.
as long as its readable and not obscured by anything you should be ok..if its not legal size however the officer may use that as an excuse to do you why its not in the prefered position.
When you're doing something like that, think about it, if you think that what you are doing will draw more attention to yourself, then the chances are it will, thus giving someone more excuse to pull you over and look for more
I think I'll keep my proper plate under the seat and a few cable ties just in case, cheers Johnnyrotten
K It's jacked up, and the plate is tilted so it don't go anywhere near the tyre, I got my missus to look while I was jumping on the seat, fingers crossed that I don't get pulled:whistle:
For the MOT test and I presume its the law somewhere, the plate should be fitted at the rear of the bike. Someone might suggest that's more to the centre of the bike.
and then it can't be read properly and will attract the eyes of the plod …to be honest it dont look too good under there….would look much better in the proper position in my opinion
Well iv been out and about on it and to be truthful iv not been 100% comfortable thinking about what if the old bill see me and pull me when I'm in a hurry and make me late for work so I'm gonna move it back to its original place, all your opinions are always helpful, cheers lads:thumbsup:
