Nice bimble to barmouth

Cracking ride with jonboi today just under 300 miles,weather perfect except for one 5min shower,Ruthin,Breakfast,Bala,Dolgellau,Aberdovey,Barmouth No ice cream to long of a wait,Betswy coed,Lyn Brenig,Denbigh,Ruthin,Home. Few pics.

 

I take it the sheep in pic 7 was killed by sexual exhaustion....

 

think it was stoned and just chillin.

Aberdovy and Barmouth in one trip, thats a long day out i have done a few times myself, i like going through Festiniog on the way back to Betws........Nice pics.

 

Went through Ffestiniog to get to betswy coed. Some great rides in wales. Unfortuanatly, the day is not long enough 300 miles suits me fine.

Indeed, i class myself as blessed having Wales on my doorstep...I see you did the Aberdovey road clockwise, must try that next time out.

 

the only drag for me is you have to go all the way round about 20 miles est around the estuary,to get to barmouth and then come back the same road to get out of barmouth.unless theres another way out.iv never used the tolll road,might try that next time.

Good pics Pip, I did a similar run a few weeks ago but came back from Barmouth via Harlech, Meantwrog and back to Bala, some great roads.

 

The Barmouth road just leads through Harlech back onto the a470 about 8 miles from the turn off to Bedgellert.
