I didnt mean you were ignorant (just in case there is any misunderstanding) - I meant some random biker that backed up to wait for his buddy and left his bike running with the exhaust pointed at a bloke 2 tables over from us.

i can't thank you lot enough for sorting me out, think more than just a brew is in order!

i felt really bad about putting a downer on the day.

i really wish i had landed it right, that would have been awesome!

yea that t-shirt is going to be used with caution in future - refused to let them cut anything off though

yea i figured smiling was better than crying and it was an either or situation...

they told me that that was the oldest ambulance in the fleet...

thanks chris for taking all the photos, its helped to jog my memory a little, surprising what you remember and what you dont. if you still have them, please would you email me a copy of the full res versions please?

I'll go for a coffee and a large slice of cake. We'll have to pick a better cafe than the one in Hawes though - that was a rough hole.

I'm ordering you a copy of 'Cornering Weekly'. Dont feel bad at all - We were all just glad you were in one piece.

It really would have been great - but - nobody would have believed you - I still cant believe you left the road on the only corner without a bloody stone wall! I applaud your corner selection! :)

I think you dealt with it pretty well.

I still cant believe the ambulance driver was all for loading you bike into the back with you - if it wasnt for the police man reminding him about a full tank of fuel, you'd have been laughing!

Will bring em down on cd when I visit.

Went to visit Felix earlier today. He's seems to be on the mend, but it looks like its going to take a while.

Thought I'd cheer him up by abusing the fact that he couldn't run away and hide. :D

And a corner without a massive drop onto a field with sheep. :)

Gutted i didnt have my sat nav on at the time, as it would have logged it as a recent stop so felix could see where it happened. :)

When i went he didnt even know where he was in relation to where he knew. :)

Will defo ride it again, great roads round there

Ah cheers Chris - been trying to find that this afternoon. Looking at it, it doesnt look as sharp as I remember. Def going to have to go back to the scene.

Dont forget the bend is on the crest of a hill and the hill is quite steep - that alone made the corner feel / appear to be sharper.

I'm up for a visit to the area again when your back on the bike. The pub where I phoned the ambulance from is literally two minutes down the road - they did good pub grub etc - could call in there for some lunch.

Sounds like a plan to me mate. Cleared a bit of it up in my head last night as well, took a proper look at my gear and worked out a bit more bout how i did it all.
