Not really noticed any salt stains on the exhaust or engine yet, quick wash down with the kettle solves it. Been out today for a few hours to get used to the new scrubs on her, really decent weather too :)

    See you all Sunday

Just though id give you all an update, the bikes back in one piece after being taken apart to make sure my ocd is satisfied with condition. Not found any horror stories just wear & Tear..
I've replaced the radiator and topped up with water not coolant... Also has a new DID chain, fuel and water catch bottles are all in position and the rear subframe has been taken back to metal and painted.
Found my exhaust on ebay this week for £65 as the ones that come with the bike were of a cb400 and didnt fit at all.
Still waiting to fully service it lockwire it, but i'm getting there slowly.
Acu is in a month and i still need a set of tyres but with the 18" i'm struggling to find track tyres.
After that first race is in May, but i'll be doing some trackdays before that to develop the bike further.
Bike also has new caliper's and EBC sintered pads all around. Could do with the fork internals upgrading but i dont have the money at the minute

Get the water out before it freezes Kev and fucks your motor up

Sorry i don't. The biggest issue you will have for the 23 is tyres and brakes. the 29 sports regular sizes but the brakes are still not much better.
The V4's are without question my bag, i have owned a 29 but that's all i have to say about that !

This 18" rear is really starting to annoy me tyre choice is very limited... I could swap to a 29 rear and include a cbr6 shock

you need to speak with Graeme france, he will have everything and more that you need, he is also very much a 23 champion and rates them higher than the 29 (as do i)

Great news, today after a few weeks of pulling whats left of my hair out its running on all. 4 cylinders. Took it for a quick lap around the block, rides really well, never rodden a 400 but theyre quick little things.

Few things left to sort out but :D

    It runs
