WiFi let you use your phone/tablet/tv/remote to view and record.. so you can see what the camera can see on your phone as you record and if needed change the position/settings to suit. GPS: not used it my self so you have to give it a read yourself pal.. haha, I assume it can track you position, stuff like that... So on a track day/blast around Wales stuff like that you'll be able to see where you been at what speed and altitude. Plus if you lose it you should be able to track it down...
@Woody http://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/actioncam/hdr-as200v-body-kit/specifications#features GPS data info found here... Looks cool.. "GPS Data Overlay on Video GPS Data Overlay on Video reads your speed data recorded by built-in GPS and generates another video file that displays speed information, etc. You can upload the video file with speed information on the Internet and share your experience with many viewers."
To be fair the 30v looks more than good enough I'm thinking bike mounted. Not on a helmet so size isn't really to much of an issue.
When the Nelli is finally running again she'll be deprived of a new paint scheme for one of these 4k models, may as well as the TV's will be common place in a year or so and the footage quality should be indisputable should some Twunt knock me off etc
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=231448755419 Can't justify the £100's of pounds for no perceivable extra quality. The 4k ones are probably worth it tho.

Awesome.... High definition video showing an accidental moment of madness with gps position overlayed and speed figures attached.... Sounds like a policemans wet dream if they see that attached to your lid... Not that I ever break a speed limit on the road of course, but that's an awful lot of data being captured. What's the type of processing power you need to edit 4k video???Getting an hour of HD ready to edit can take an hour....
Si got a go pro for Christmas and a helmet mount, Here it is. He's not been out on the bike yet though.
