Dodgy overtake through the staggered junction at Dinmael got me, spotted flouro jackets too late, and knocked off the acceleration but continued the slower overtake over a section of double whites ...................... :stop: The nice Heddlu man asked what possessed me to overtake over the double whites, I was thinking the possible triple figure knicking If I'd continued with my original plan .... Ah well all adds to life's rich tapestry, bloody expensive trip for fish n chips tho !
jeez, you did well just to get a speed awareness course….overtaking while speeding …across double whites ….at a junction !!! very lucky let off ….good to see that from the welsh boys in blue , they have normally have a very hard zero tolerance attitue with bikes ..
No idea what I've got to be honest - apparently they don't give out fixed penalties any more, just refer everything to the courts. Luckily the two cars I was overtaking were doing 40 (and had been for a while) in the 50 limit, so when the junction appeared and the line broke I just thought why not..... zip past, nip back in before the box closes. Spotted the jackets before the speed climbed too high but had to continue the pass at lower speed than planned hence the line transgression. Hands up - combination of poor obs and impatience....:bang: + :bang:
