Well on wedensday i done my first rack day with no limits at Oulton park in the novice, i ended up meeting mark (marco )there and we stuck together for the day What a hoot had loads of fun, but noticed the was a good few "novices" that were clearly in the wrong group , why do these people go in the wrong group ? Ive watched the bsb on tv at Oulton loads of times but wasn't expecting the amount of crests where you can't see whats coming next ,it was fooking awesome No limits were ok but i still think they should of moved some of the fast guys up to the inters , knee down overtaking on the inside on the first session after our three sighting laps Will i do another YES definitely i had a great time and would like to sort out my body positioning next time out on track
great pics ..esp the last one in relation to "speedy novices" whats prob happened is the inters or fast would have been full so the only group left is ….novice….lots of riders leave it till the last min ,for a weather check , then they find that the group they want to be in is full …..a fast rider in the novice can be upsetting for the novice,,its also not easy for the fast guy,,he can't get a fast lap in due to not knowing "what lies ahead" ..IE some novices take strange lines in corners …esp when they aint used to the track glad you enjoyed it..everyone who does one gets hooked …get another booked in
Great shots mate, yeah the "faster" lads in novice group happens alot. Last minute.com, crap sold out. I'll book novice and see if i get bumped up. Oulton's a fantastic track, i see u now have the bug though
Oh yea i think i got the bug alright , i was the only one there who wasn't on a sports bike , it made it all the better taking over the slowest 1199 panigale rider known to man
I got the bug after my first trackday aswell, its the only place you can safely rip f*ck out of your bike . Im on Oulton tomorrow, just hope it keeps dry
Il be booking my first track day soonish but not booking into novice as I know I will get held up so I'm going to book into inters Nice piks btw

im very tempted, had a look at the site think its the 11th of June the charity day. i will at least go to watch but im tempted to have a go, would be my first time on track.
