    Friday this arrived:-

    With this inside:-

I finally got the time today to fit it

Not much weight difference, which surprised me, as the standard is made of stainless and has the cat inside!

The main thing though, the carbon looks way better than the stainless on a black bike and without the cat, it sounds like it ought to!

Anyway, when I fitted the exhaust, there was this left over:-

There were no instructions with the exhaust and being over 40, my memory isn't as good as it was so I can't remember if I'm supposed to fit it or not! Any ideas what it is?

(I'm sure my memory will return at MOT time!)

Very nice Rob, i was looking SC Project a while ago for the TV4, tasty looking exhausts, i think that spare piece is for filling with peanuts so you can feed the squirrels and blue tits..:thumbsup: either way i'm sure it has nothing to do with the exhaust. :D:D

The last bit is for when you give up and buy a boat
It fits over the smoke stack to stop the rain getting in

It's an SC-Project can and came with SC-Project stickers. I'm going with the 'Stealth' look (if not the stealth noise! )

Can't think of any good reason for a big bit of metal to be in the middle of an exhaust.

i think thats for when you wash the bike. you put that in the end temporarily with a rag in so you dont get water in it.

Definitely agree silver exhausts don't look as good on dark/black bikes as black or carbon exhausts.
