Mmmm nice pins :D

    Popped to the hospital today for a post-op check up after having my thumb pinned back together on Friday after my little disagreement with my Ninja. I went in for the op and the surgeon told me they'd cut my hand open, needing a few stitches and leaving one maybe two quite notable scars, and wire my thumb back together.

    I woke up post-op with my hand dressed and in a cast so today was the first time I've seen it. They took my old clunky heavy white plaster cast off, cleaned my pins and fitted a sweeeeeet lightweight, resin/plastic cast that's also removable :D

    Meaning pins sticking out of hand would be quite handy to give a certain someone a slap at the mo, noone on here of course :)

    Not really but they're well protected from being knocked by layers of bandage, foam and then the cast.
