**Meeting locations for Krewy's memorial ride Sun 12/09/10**

    The other thread got waaaay to confusing, so here is a summary of the meeting points.

    If any of the information is incorrect or missing please let me know and I will edit it.

    Any meeting locations without confirmed times, can these please be confirmed and I will update the post.

    Anyone else posting on here please only either:

    a) state a new meeting location - research your travel duration (including a safety margin) to the main meeting location FIRST and then state the time you're LEAVING at;
    b) state which pre-agreed location you'll be meeting at;
    c) if there is a problem (i.e. need a lift, directions, etc.)


    Haydock Island petrol station
    Departing - 8.45am
    Confirmed - MikeZX10R, Rachgsxr750, Leeob, busa, dirty bertie, Alison (mate of Chickenstrips) (plus Jim27, Wonda, dougall+1, daveace22 and Chickenstrips who are meeting prior to that at Horwich Tesco petrol station - see below)

    Horwich Tesco petrol station
    Departing - 7.45am (heading to Haydock Island and merging with that group for 8.30am)
    Confirmed - Jim27, Wonda, daveace22, dougall+1, Chickenstrips

    Deeside Asda car park
    Departing - 8.30am
    Confirmed - Bikenutter, Lowlight, lcgold (125cc learner legal)

    PC World, Bolton
    Departing - 8.30am
    Confirmed - Chris, Matty-S-182

    Widnes McDonalds
    Departing - 8.30am sharp (meeting 8.15am)
    Confirmed - Tomo870, Candice, Ride4Life, Kieran

    Dayo's house
    Departing - TIME NOT CONFIRMED
    Confirmed - Dayo & Linzi, Lister, JoeLee, Fog, rodbull, matty horsley, paulj, neil

    Macdonalds, Gorse mill, Broadway, Chadderton (travelling down the East Lancs)
    Departing - 7.30am
    Confirmed - Village Idiot, NEL + others

    I would like to join those as DEESIDE ASDA (which I assume is the one in Queensferry). I'm on a 125 and a learner, so will need looking after please! I will keep checking on a meeting time.

    Why not meet at 7.30 leave at 7.45 and ride to Haydock to meet the others at 8.30

    I'll be unable to get on the internet until Friday afternoon so peeps continue to post here please and I'll update/tidy the thread later on Friday.

    I would suggest that the Bolton PC World lot meet earlier and come down to Haydock Island, as if there's no-one in the PC World group that definitely knows the route to the meeting place in Runcorn then it could easily end in a bit of a balls-up, especially if you're not leaving yourselves much of a safety margin with the time... Just my humble thoughts, anyways.

    So is everyone meeting in runcorn at 9:30?
    i will just meet you in runcorn as i live near frodsham...
    hopefully will be a good ride out in rememberance of an amazing lad!     :thumbsup:

    Yep everyone is meeting in Runcorn for 9:30 on Tudor Road.

    Bit of advice for the people who'll be coming from Bolton/Haydock/Manchester... The Turning off the expressway to get the the meeting point isn't well signposted, I know its a bit rough but this is where you'll be coming off and heading, Another point though, is the first roundabout after coming off the expressway dips to the left when your going around it so be extra careful on it:

    I do understand that, But due to the place being a bit difficult to locate then I thought that I'd stick that little one up of the turning and how to get to the location. I've actually already pm'd him a suggested route around runcorn which takes into account the roadworks etc....

    Ok everyone, please dont worry about the route its all sorted, we have 3 outriders & we all know the route. The Norton Priory is clearly marked all around Runcorn's Ring road.

    We will be leaving Norton Priory & getting back on the Daresbury Expressway at 10am & heading back towards Runcorn. We will be taking the A533 Central Expressway & leaving it imidiatley to get onto Boston Avenue then Halton Road, we will then be heading to the end & turning left up Picton Avenue, then a left onto Saxon Road, we will then head up Stenhills Cresent where Martins Mum & Step Dad Caroline & Paul live at number 6. Its the house on the corner on your left & it would be cool to blow your horns or rev the bikes or a bit of both maybe?

    We will turn right down Union street & right onto Heath road then its back onto the ring Road & head through Frodsham & Helsby to the A55 & up to Llangollen & the Horse shoe pass for tea and scones at the Ponderosa.

    We will be going at a very steady speed so we can all stay together, I need vaulanteers for a back marker & I will be bringing some Yellow vests to mark the outriders the front & the rear that way we dont lose anyone.

    For those that fancy a day out in Wales theres the No Budget Cup at Ty Croes on Anglesey that afternoon. OK thanks for all your support & lets make it a safe & memorable day out.

    Just as a foot note I will be at the ASDA DEESIDE/QUEENSFERRY AT 8.30AM LEAVING AT 8.35am I cant wait for stragglers so please be on time. Any issues my mobile number is 07575 907869

    I know its a bit short notice but has anyone a spare pillion seat that I can jump on? I'll gladly give some money for petrol aswell as putting some money as a donation aswell.

    Edit.... Thanks to Dec for allowing me to go on the back of his bike!
