Me Vs Pigeon

I was on way home from the scotch tonight, going down the A59 with Kev1382. Then out of the blue I was viciously assaulted by what seamed to be a normal Pigeon, this was not normal in fact far from it. The pigeon had a problem with life and decided to end it by flying right in to me and my monkey, The speed of impact was close to 70mph. (hurt like hell). The only word to explain it really is exploded. My lid, NWB hoodie and tank was covered in what looked like bits of organs, blood and feathers lots of feathers.

Below is a very badly taken photo of my bruised left shoulder.



I was not the only victim of the attack, my poor defenceless PG tips monkey was ripped out of his holders (there you go SUT) and is now in ICU, his arms and hands were badly damaged. He will need some care but he will be back.

Kev took a picture of the Pigeon for any body who would like to see the little devil.

 

That was a close one Lister I had a pheasant miss me by inches the other day. It could have turned out nasty that one mate.

Isnt this the second time sommit like this has happend to you, or am I thinking of someone else.

 

The first time the bird hit my filter then my face. wasn't goin that fast that time.

:lol: :lol: lister the bird and monkey murderer,he had only just spat his dummy and gave me the middle finger cause my front wheel lifted slightly higher than his...then seconds later bladders a poor defencless pigion...how is monkey mate after we stretchered him off the road :lol:

 

Should have taken the bird back to the Scotchie BBQ

Update on the monkey. The little guy is doin OK, he's come through his op just fine. His hands still need some work (need new suckers) they will be attached on Saturday and hopefully be back on the road on Monday.

Ha thats mad. Lucky though that you didnt come off. I saw one on a show (sommat like road wars) where a guy hit a pheasant with his face, his face got fucked up.

The monkey is back on the road, we has recovered very well and is now back on top form.
