Ok so this is gonna happen in Martins memory. The deal is we run 50cc peds from west to east spend the night in a b & b then head back. What is the dealio with insurance? Do most companies do a 1 month thing...or would I take out a 12 month policy but cancel after the first payment? eh who cares. Minor technicality. TO EBAY I GO!

Ricks Suzuki ap 50 cost £5 and was one of the 3 (out of 11) that didnt break down once. Simons tgb with a new respray in kawasaki green cost £100, it can easily be done.

im definatley up for this I would suggest changing the conditions thou to getting a knackered one and having to repair it before the ride (also cause most of the ones on ebay that are running are over budget lol
Here is a suggestion. There may be some that already own something like a C90, or a CG125 or similar, or hardly defined as a moped, but still in the spirit of things. So to save them buying anything - perhaps a penalty clause ? £10 per 10cc over the 50cc limit £10 per £100 in value over the original £300 purchase price threashold ? So if you bought say a £600 C90 to commute on, you would need to donate say £40 + £30 to either a charity of Martin's families choice or to Martin's family ? If you wanted to tag along on a fireblade following the mopeds at 40mph - well it's gonna cost yer . . . .
I've done the 'numb bum run' a few times and its a great route..Heres my plan Head to Morecambe and camp/b&b picture by the seaside morecambe sea 8am ride to devils bridge for late breakfast/brunch (lots of bikers-collection bucket) then onto barnard castle for nice cafe lunch then onto Redcar esplanade-another biker gathering-collection point ? Its a great run through the countryside,no stupid busy main roads
I'm deffo up for this, I still have one of the Visions in the shed from the BEAST run. It's completely stripped down but April gives me time enough to sort it out. When Benny asked me what I was doing with this 'spare' one, I told him I was gonna turn it into a Marco Simoncelli race rep, with all the decals etc. So that's deffo gonna happen in preparation for this run. All the panels to be resprayed white and the decals put on. He'd have laughed his tits off

I have Nel and Lavinia's ped in my shed from when they gave them away after the BEAST run. I was gonna re-register it for my eldest lad, but never found the time. Yours if you want it Elliott but I don't know what it needs and you'd have to be able to collect.
