wrong gear??. Or rideing off the egde of your tyres. In other words leaning the bike over to far, instead of you hanging off the bike.

Mallory only a short track I see, did not notices anything different from all the other lap, so it maybe what koreanbaz said you leard over too much with the bike and not your body

edge of tyre. on/off throttle..you can lose traction by backing the throttle off. especially on the edge of the tyre.. I've done similar at anglesey.

Wild guess would be second hand tyres ! That's if they was second hand Tyres I would think after 2 laps any tyre would be upto a minimum temp !

I had to buy a second tyre whist in the iom and it never felt right bike was very unsettled mid corner and at one point it spun up in the dry and knocked my left foot offthe peg when I got the original one fixxed and refitted back on the bike would running sweet again

I'll never buy second hand tyres again and expect them to grip 100% I have done in the past for local road use but for track has to be from new .

But watching the video more than once I could hear the engine rev rise much before the tyre give up gripping

I would just it down to tyres mate nothing else defo not on/off throttle control you looked smoth in changing direction

Soon be be back on track mate .

How is the black gixxer btw

It may be cheaper to sell what bits you can and buy another track bike, or do you think its cheaper fixing it?

On inspection of the carnage that is left, my opinion is that I have no opinion as to why you crashed, though the your is looking a tad tired.

Could be wrong, but sounds like you went off the throttle a little just before it slid. On the edge of the tyre, on old and/or nackered tyres, that could well cause it to lose traction.

Bloody expensive first trackday though on the new track tool!

Glad you're not seriously hurt mate.

Did anyone notice that long black stripe (skidmark) on the track?
As you move back across the track and at the point you seem to come into contact with the black stripe it appears the rear lets go.

Ye does look like something on the track, maybe an oil spill

I dont think it was because of rolling off the throttle. Seems like sommat on the track, or that black line is slippy (like the tar joins in the roads) but cant tell properly without seeing the track.

What i do know for sure is im GUTTED for you mate!

i know it wasnt the throttle-i was pretty much well on the gas throughout the corner
i was leaning A LOT and hanging off A LOT
am putting it down to a combination of shite tyres and shite surface and kamikaze leaning !
