Looking to get a cheap track day bike,can be a road bike that is suitable for track use or a track bike that could be made into road use if needed as I'm going to have to ride the bike to the track and back probably Don't want to spend much and am happy to do some work on it to get it up to scratch. And advice of models to look out for etc would be great Thanks Jimmy
I'd go or. 600 cc max if your new to tracks. They have plenty of power. CBR 600. R6 etc. depending on your budget, a cbr600rr is all you will ever need

Taxed and mot'd till 30/06/14 ive serviced it myself replaced the header pipes with second hand header pipes with the exup the fairing are tatty with a rattle can job but not sure that will be a problem for you but otherwise a solid bike might need the carbs balanced
