Bloody hell have you go any ncb mine is £550 on a 750 with 2years ncb, a 125 is usually more expensive when I passed my test the insurance on my 125 doubled
Nope haven't got NCB, only started riding in March so it is my first year on the road. I was 21 in December and I passed my test in December too so hopefully when I get a bigger bike my age + NCB + license will mean it is a lot cheaper. My insurance was actually £650 but when I passed my test they made me pay another £99 because I was "more of a risk because you can use motorways". Had me like a prisoner on the phone...Didn't want to pay it but my insurance would be void if I didn't. Holding me for ransom lol had to pay it on the spot.
A few years of no claims bonus and experience should bring it down considerably though. Obviously at the age of 21 youv'e got a long way to go before you become a member of the old git's club like me . Over 40 and your'e deemed as mature ,sensible and worthy of cheaper insurance :lmfao: ha bloody ha.
Really nice bike that is mate ................. may have to get myself one of those :shades: :shades: Baz
Take it your going for a larger bike in march, you will be surprises an the difference in insurance compared to a 125, what bike you thinking of getting and I take it you will be restricted to 33bhp
What about an sv650 as it won't be much heavier, Its only a little bit bigger than your bike and the insurance is cheap
I know what you mean, the ones with the full fairing look ok but the naked ones do tend to look a little spartan
If ridden well though it will keep up with most in the corners. Just be careful of the awesome engine braking and you'll have a reat laugh!
I likes that me, it looks sound but i dont think im ready yet. Think i still need a hrc blade first. Proper that tho.
