does anyone know where i can get me one piece altered as i seem to have out grown them.and they are causing a nasty chaffing in the crotch area ( no pics ).cant decide wether i should just buy new trousers to go with me jacket or get the one piece made bigger...whatevers cheapest will probably prevail
joyda or andelle leathers both good places. but tbh ive been watching used leathers on ebay and you can get a mint set for £100
I had a 2 piece set made a bit bigger. Added leather to the sides of jacket and the pants. cost about £100.
Joyda don't charge much - I paid £10 for some patching...but they take ages to get it done. Think it's because loads of people take their stuff round to them.
will be getting my rst's tailored there over winter. and no before you say - i actually need them making tighter lol! was quoted 120 which considering i only paid a 1er for them in mint nick is a bargain for a perfect fit. might get another zip on my pants as well (the big tooth type) so i can wear my textile top with my leather pants.
got my kevlar ones shortened last week, asked the woman if she does leathers and she does, can pass you her number if you want it? best thing is i went in and she did mine while i waited, i cocked up and got them done to short, dropped them back in and she didn't charge me to lengthen them.
if its the same place just fount this whilst i was looking :-( http://www.andellemotorleathers.co.uk/
Oh dear. doesnt look good. She was a good laugh too. ive used her a couple of times. first one when she worked from her house in horwich. Used to send you in the kitchen to get changed. then shed take the p*ss out if how you looked. hope shes ok.
Yeh the knox protection is wierd tho.... Like a woodlouse shell on my elbows lol, sort of slides over itself. The knees are the same as well, very flexible pads. Theyre very comfy tho. Dont need much changing on mine, just tightening up around the knees cos i took mine down to the bone a few years back when the kneepad moved over in a off so i prefer them tighter fitting so they stay in place.
