Just bought this last weekend. Now need the gritters to hibernate for the Summer so I can get some decent miles in.
Thought about that..... Not sure I want them tbh Won't feel the extra 2bhp and the noise.....well I already have a loud bike and am looking forward to some performance with discretion. Maybe I am getting old, but sometimes it's best not to draw attention to yourself.

Ha ha ha, there endeth the sermon by Winky the Gardener. If you are so bloody keen, get your arse round here, get down on all fours and get those weeds out.....with your teeth....cheeky twat. Taking it easy at the mo as still running in, but its a very different beast than my ZX10r. Still a 4cyl Litre bike, but it does feel very different, especially pottering around town. It feels like a twin, more so at sub 20mph and I find myself using first gear for extended periods, as it feels like it wants to stall. The ZX would potter comfortably at these speeds in 2nd, smooth as silk. When I reach 7000 rpm, the engine note changes and it starts to roar, as if to warn that something explosive is about to happen, but then my running in light comes on, so I change up and miss out on the drama. I need to get this thing run in and then see what happens in the second half of the rev range!!!!!
