I am in you have my number i texted you tonight I vote heaton park ( it's nearer for me lol ) I dont mind where we meet but its going to be very early how about somewhere we get get tea ( eugh ) and toast like macdonalds at the top of broadway, Asda chadderton or sainsbury's heaton park dont know if any will be open thou lol

 

isnt that going out of our way and adding time onto an already very early start I would have to get up before i went to bed :S :zzz:

 

Am new here and never met Krewy but I think what you are all doing is an awesome thing, I live in salford not far from the start of the east lancs, what way ar eyou thinking of going as mayeb I could meet you on the route between oldham and the east lancs?

I am new on here and never meet Krewie, but never the less I would love to come and show my respect to a fallen rider, I am Stockport based so keep me updated as to where you are thinking of meeting.

McDonalds on Bury new road near Hein Gericke's open at 5am sundays. Can meet there as we can then travel along Great Cheetham street to the east lancs. What do u think and we can get a coffee etc b4 we set off.

 

I will have to meet up with people first not sure I can find my way to Bury new road without getting lost

 

Count me in. You already have my digits Neil. What about meeting at Old Trafford ? Surely everyone from the surrounding areas knows where that is ? Not being funny but Tea 'n' Coffee can be consumed at home before leaving. Plus meeting and having refreshments could complicate and or delay things.

where did that come from might as well all meet at haydock as go to old trafford or is my geography just living up to its reputation :S we want somewhere local nick and on the way , the idea of coffee was so those there early could have a coffee between 7 and 7.15 whilst waiting for the lazy buggers having tea ( yugh!) and toast at home not too delay the departure :banghead:


I think we have settled on meeting at maccies on broadway then accross to sheepfoot lane and the east lancs to haydock but neil seems to be out playing with his new toy and not posting :lol:

 

taking this a bit off topic.... why would anybody want to go to Old Trafford???

I live in Swinton so on the East Lancs and I'm also a learner on a 125. will it be ok for me to come along?

If so can i meet you folks on the East Lancs. I can either be ready near McDonalds at Salford Crescent or at the petrol station near the New Ellesmere (Premier Travel Inn) pub on the East Lancs at Swinton/Worsley. I can be there about 7.45 to make sure i'm there in plenty of time to meet up.

i never got to meet krewy but this is very sad, reading some of his posts, i didn't realise he was so young & such a new rider, obviously loving his freedom, new friends etc.

i am unfortunately unavailable sunday mornings due to family stuff, but my thoughts will be with you all at this tragic time, such a sad loss.

as a mark of respect i'll be riding with pegs down for the forseeable future - ride in peace.
