i've got 4 1/2 weeks to fix

    after throwing myself over my handle bars at 10 mile an hour last week, i thought i might as well show you all the stateof my bike now, and what i need to fix in the next 4 1/2 weeks before my cast comes off

    stripped her off her clothes today

    the hole i put in my crank case

    snapped stem off windscreen bracket

    the seat unit

    the right hand side fairing

    few scratches to head light unit

    also need new rearset after snapping my foot peg off, new crash bungs, and bar ends, and a bottle of oil to replace the couple of litres i spewed out on the road. oh and to top it off, i noticed today that i need a new front tyre, great

    if there is anything else i should take a look at whilst it's stripped down,please let me know

    bloody 'ell, my bike got off lightly compared to your one :lol:

    I only need two new wheels haha

    quick tip! after replacing the engine cover, flush the oil out..

    get a magnetic sump plug (and/or magnet on the oil filter) put in new oil, run it for about 50 or so miles, then flush that oil out as well.

    flush out any metal shards that have gone inwards from the engine casing

    if i had more time id come help you.
    Startin to get used to strippin bikes down and building them back up now.
    Just finishing off puttin mine back together and then need to start pullin the other one apart lol.
