So a mate of mine has an 86 Kwak GPZ600-R he's been doing up for the last twelve months or so. Its a runner and almost finished but he gave the tank and fairings to a ( supposed ) mate to apply the decals and he has done a disappearing act with them. Not being able to recover the tank and fairings he has got pissed off with it and bought another bike so is now selling the GPZ for £400. Is it worth a punt for a bit of a project ?

i have often thought the very same thing Chris

to me its time. The only spare time i normally get is at weekend ,and i like to ride then. Your obviously also a busy guy scuba diving , bikes , Marshalling etc.

only you can make the call really. think most peeps get them for a winter project , when not riding and it carries on from there

    I have a café-rat-fighter project going on in the garage . . . . . for the passed 3 years.
I may finish it one day, but I am not holding my breathe.

Yep, totally down to you mate, you need to REALLY want to do something like that to see it through though, i spent 7months of spare time doing mine. No kids or mrs though so that helped. If you've got the space / cash then take a punt.

    Shame for your mate :(
