My Dad looked into taking the caravan but apparently the I.O.M Government wont allow caravans onto the island during practice & race weeks, if he was told he'd have to take it over a week before practice week & bring it home the week after race week & that you need some sort of pass to get it onto the island !!

His caravan is a bloody big 30ft twin axle thing though, so dont know if it's different for single axled vans. A mate of mine has a huge converted horse transporter which he can put about 8 bikes in & all the spares & stuff they need for the week.

As much as i like camping, i dont trust the TT weather & will stick to my hotel thanks !!
