rubbish you looked very good last sat (from my mirror) if you want to come along Im sure i can sort you a space and i will take you for a spin etc see how your training is progressing etc, I'm sure your doing fine.
iv got an alternative to IAM, it don't cost you any money, its all over and done with in one ride,. At 4.55pm on a Friday you set off from Prescott,go to Liverpool tunnel(the one by the museum) the route is east prescot road, if you make the tunnel un harmed then you don't need to worry about IAM coz your doing something right
Both Clare and I eventually found time to practice everything we had been taught by the super guys at IAM Southport. AND today we passed our tests with great results. A huge thanks to Barry Tony Rob Mike Richard Brian Ian Howard Andy Clive Stewart and all the observers who give up their time and incur personal expense to tutor for the IAM. Thanks again chaps your support and guidance was invaluable. Ride safe and Merry Christmas. Rich & Clare
we are startin a full course in MArch Daz , you won't need to do all that , your experience and ability will get you through easy, having said that, there is always something new to learn prob just after new year we will be sitting down and sorting out some assessment days etc so i will keep you posted think it was March last year i sorted a full assessment morning for the forum and 18 riders applied ,yet four turned up cos it was wet!!!! grrr grrrrr Im more than happy ,with rob , to sort a full day for you guys on here at huge discounts and I'm talking in the region of a tenner !!! for a full or half days advanced riding with top quality ,qualified observers, all trained to high IAM standards, some now like rob have professional qualifications This would be a feeder type day to see if you guys like it , or even if we like you !!!!!!! The only downside to this is due to loads pulling out at the last min in march, i will prob have to ask for payment up front to cover some small costs that the group incur . as mentioned in a previous post, the next full course starts in March , we only take around ten riders, so we can give better attention to detail, and that course already has three riders enrolled on it ! speaks dividends for our gang ! I will keep you posted though. You can actually apply for the IAM advanced test and just take it !!! you don't have to be involved in a skill for life course. However... i think its beneficial so you can see small things like you won't know IE which foot do you come to a stop on ? do you actually cover your front brake ALL the time ? IPSGA ..POWDDERS ..IMSAFE .... etc etc i keep you all posted though
tbh i reckon it'd be a hoot. id personally deliberately fk up to make it last longer and get my £ worth out of the fkers
the only prob i see if you don't do it mart or daz in fact ...when riding with sue ..she will be a qualified advanced rider and you two won't ......HOWS ABOUT THAT THEN !!!!
to be fare though Dave it says sayers on the back of some buses but the driver wont sell you a pie :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao:
Dave i know you are trying to shame them in to IAM.....but even when qualified will never be as good as martin and daz
