Anyone know of somewhere who will put tyres on bought elsewhere, in Oldham area and would prefer ride in ride out.. Also what would I expect to pay?
Williams tyres in Hyde, but you'll have to take the wheels out yourself, you can ride in and he'll lend you the equipment, not many tyre places will take your wheels out now, nearly all of them will only fit tyres to lose wheels, something to do with the insurance I think.
Don't really fancy trying it that way, things have a tendency to go wrong when I try stuff like that..
I know tst will happily remove wheels for you, but you would have to ring them to see if they would fit your own tyres.
Culcheth. If its including wheel removal £20 a tyre is about right. Usually about a tenner to a loose wheel.

Im now working in oldham. If you bring them loose to me ill fit em for nowt. Cant do balancing though, wont fit on the machine.

Sorry just seen this mate, thanks very much for the offer but on my days off the mrs has the car so the only way I can do it is drive down with the tyres one day when she gets home and then take the bike another day to do the tyres.. Where in Oldham do you work though just incase...??
