We will shortly be moving house from a 3 bed in Eccles to a 2 bed in Eccles. Last time we moved I did it all by myself as the mrs was pregnant (always an excuse) so this time i was thinking of hiring a van and man or 2 to help. Im wondering if anyone has any experience I know I can hire a van for around £65 a day and theres a few companies in the paper that are asking around £200 - £250 which i thinks ok but im worried are they insured? bigger companies will be but at around £800 for one quote they can sod off what would you do? hire a van bust a gut but know all your stuff will be fine (hopefully) ? take it easy and hire man and van to help?
I've moved house four times over the years and always done the move myself with the help of a brother.
Yup. Ive moved 4 times and always done it myself. But each time I swore id get a removals firm in the next time.
looks like a pattern! think your confirming it for me looks like van hires the way. My brother probably will give me a hand too. As long as it doesnt rain again like last time and i went on my arse on the laminate flooring hahahah.
I've moved several times in the last few years and have always done it myself with a friend or realtives help. Doing it with a broken foot wasnt much fun though! Im moving again in the next few weeks so its van hire for me and a days hard graft
