Fuckin hell, I didn't realise the were fetching that kind of price. Bit ignorant of me really. Nice bike, best of luck with the sale, shame to sell after all the work you have done to it but suppose needs must.

there's recently been a fair few scruffy ones selling for what i've advertised mine at, so realistically priced, also was offered 3.4k in part ex which is a damn good price- just didn't want finance.
There is scope to ship over to OZ, had a buyer over there willing to pay £5.5k but i haven't a clue how to get her shipped out, they fetch upwards of £6k GBP over there with the TYGA kit etc- all to do with licensing laws apparently.

haha rather you than me, i contemplated it over the summer but the mileage would be shocking and probably two sets of tyres and two services en-route.

mates just moved to OZ and took his Caymen and his RVF too
he took them as a personal import (needed to be in his name over 12 months) and once shipped (around £600) there is tax to pay (10% of its value) then simple registration costs.
he worked out it was much cheaper to send his own over than buy one over there.

Mate if being offered the full asking price from someone over there then snap their hand off.

Also may want to edit the advert too, lose the 2000 bit, they only made RVF's for 2 years (1994 to early 1996) and they tend to fall as RR's are 1994 (L or M reg) and RT's (N - X reg)
the fact it was imported and registered in 2000 still makes it really a 1994, 95, 96 bike if that makes sense.

So what you getting next ?

    Cheers Paul, advert amended :)
Looking for a Benelli Tornado Tre Rs or LE, much taller bike which is great for my ankles and hip. Cannot wait to be back on two wheels! polished her up ready for the sale and not ridden in two whole weeks :,(
