Anyone know any local (Merseyside or
Lancashire) exhaust specialists who could make or repair my collector box and cheaply?
I know MTC can't do this one and as a new system is over £700 I'm in a pickle.

you need a collector ? i saw your advert on 400greybike but was too busy to reply that day.
i have a standard collector in good condition, couple of minor scrape marks on the underside flat point
    £75
you wont need down pipes - they dont rot.

its odd that Honda used a stainless system and mild steel on the joining collars.

Hahaha good man, in my defence I had a job which paid everything and student loan was just for housing.
Damn exhaust is at deafening levels now.....

FFS this is the third item in the same number of days that peeps are buying with student loans !! i find it incredible that you have surplus...im asking this cos when my youngest went to uni couple of years ago, she never had a penny spare from her loan and i had to "make up the difference" i know she didnt take the piss either.......at some time surely you will have to pay back this money ? hence the word loan .....

Im defo applying to do my education again if they are chucking money at you to study

I think your daughter was having you on haha, they pay your tuition straight to the college and then make sure you have "sufficient" money to get by. To be fair i already work so have enough money to live without the loan so mine can go on other stuff (all my 1st payment is going on a bike). This is going to help me with travel aswell as its cost me almost £10 a day in buses! Cheaper to get taxi's. Would probably cost me £5 worth of juice all week on a bike, thats my argument (it will pay for itsself in no time, honest hun!) haha. An yeah, it is a LOAN so it does all need to pay back but its the best, cheapest loan you will ever get. Interest is next to nothing

yep, i know my little girl pulled a few strings !! lol little bitch !!!

from what i remember you have to earn over a certain threshold before you pay back ? they auto deduct a percentage every month. however...there is a loop hole , its only taken from a british bank account for the UK government,,, my little girl baby works in Manhattan New York now, Banks with a US bank so she dont pay anything ......dont know where she got her brains !!!!

Think i may try that one then haha

i think its you pay £9 for every £1000 over £21,000

Earn £25,000 a year you only pay back £36 a month :) The only time you would ever pay it all back was if you was earning £60,000+

It's changed Bob, just as the £9,000 per year tuition fees started (as the UK GOV spent the education budget on the Olympics-another rant for another day) they upped the starting wage repayment threshold to £25,000 but had it index linked so for every year when wages/inflation goes up the base level for repayments goes up. So in other words we will never pay it off.
I will qualify with £57,000 student debt. After 20 years of repayments it's written off and if I stay out of the country for 2 years it's written off as the same for what Dave said, work abroad and bank with a non UK bank.
    :D simples

Ps I have about £150 over the year left of my loan/grant, pays my insurance is all :(
