I've just bought this bike last week an wondering when it was serviced 600 miles ago would the spark plugs have been changed as standard service or would it be worth me doing it ?

Can't see em doing the plugs as standard. Take one out and have a look

Its an absolute ball ache to get to the plugs on the hornet, you may find the two centre plugs havent been changed in quite a while if its been self serviced at all! But unless it was either an 8 or 16k mile service (off the top of my head) a dealer wouldnt usually change them unless asked.

Edit: make sure to buy Oem from Honda, they are Ngk and cost £4.36 each.
Buy them direct from Ngk and they charge £12.61 each inc vat for the exact spark plug.

Should sort any misfire/sounding lumpy, but just bear in mind shes an IL4, life doesn't start until about 4.5k revs, they're not happy below 3k ;)

yea i thought that could be the case
i bought it off an old fella who had had it sat for a couple of months
think it must have had some old fuel in it or something as it rode fine for about 25/30 mile then started cutting out to a point where she wouldnt fire up at all
yesterday i filled it up with 99ron unleaded and she fired up straight away and run and revved fine on the spot not had it out again since ive done this but it cant hurt it to do plugs aswell just for peice of mind
