I've just made myself a radiator guard from mesh and screen trim for my F650. Only second hand ones available and they want £70 plus for them.

I was going to secure it with cable ties but found I could put a lip at the top and use existing bolts at the bottom to hold it in place perfectly.

I'm really pleased with it. And I've still got more than half of the mesh and a whole pack of trim left (I bought two packs of trim) for future use! So as the whole lot cost me £34 that means my new guard cost me less than £17. A bloody bargain.

This is the stuff I used.
