    Hey all, I was looking for some advice on how to fix/mod my Scala rider. To cut a long story short, the speakers that come with the set are rubbish and a common mod is to cut them off and solder in a headphones socket. The wires are braided but also coated in some clear coat stuff which makes it a pain to solder - i've tried this a few times and its not having it so I figured it would be a lot simpler to take it apart and just solder new wires directly onto the board. Heres what it all looks like;

    My issue is I don't know what the "AN-" means, and also unsure what to replace the wiring with. I just want some short wiring to a headphone socket lol. Any wiring I've looked at just has L, R and ground, this thing has 6 wires :S

    Any help/advice much appreciated :)

    The wire is easy to solder, just use a lighter to burn the varnish off and use a low heat soldering iron, tin them with some good solder (not lead free crap) .

    Of the 5 or 6 threads I found, that was one I didn't see, and the most fucking useful. Awesome.

    Cheers for the help lads.
