I was on a call in Bootle today, Worcester rd, (opposite end from Derby Park), and when I came out of the call I was aware that someone had interfered with my bike. I know it had been moved as the chain through the rear wheel and through the luggage carrier was taught when I came to unlock it. I had to move the bike backwards about 6 inches to release the tension. I can only assume that someone didn't see the chain and thought they would take my bike for a walk/roll? The incident has been reported to the Police. Anyone thinking they can just park up and pop in to somewhere, beware.
Thats liverpool, if anyone thinks they can park up and pop in anywhere they deserve to be robbed! alm: Glad you kept yours! When i go up to see the missus i put 3 disc locks and a chain on!
I should be able to leave my bike, locked up anywhere. And you are just being the devil's advocate, lol. Must try harder!
I personally would love something like from Robocop and the electrified belt idea, but shoots a spike up the jacksee, then delivers 100 amps, sends the family a sad notification, and posts their bereavement pic on the web and twitter FB etc. (could even invite a lot of ppl to a free BBQ maybe, still thinking about this?). I'm sure in a lot of cases, no-one would even notice otherwise.
