Got a little problem and need some ideas. Was out last night and suddenly the road went pitch black in front of me

    My headlights went off.

I can switch my main beam on and off via the flasher button and also the main beam switch. Just got no normal beam.

    Anyone suggest anything?

Are they 2 differant bulbs like car headlights ?? 1 for dipped, 1 for high ??

Or could be a loose wire for the dipped light !!

Perhaps the fuse for the dipped then ?? both will be on the same fuse

Nope, not the fuse. Plus the headlights seem to only have the one fuse which normal and full beam.

I hate electrics. You can guarantee this'll be going into the shop to be sorted :( Looks like I'll be staying in when it's dark.

Actually started the bike this morning and had the same problem. Stuck it on full beam. Will check my fuse and that lol. never thought of that myself.

it will be the dipped filament in the bulb

Yup it was the filament in the end. Just found it very strange that both the left and right went at the same time lol

O well, new bulbs are in now... joy :)
