Can anyone tell me if headers from a 2000 cbr600 will fit a 2001 model ? Also if I'm fitting myself when I take the existing ones off are there gaskets or flanges that will need replacing ???

i'm not 100% but i think there the same engine they should fit,you may get away with the gaskets as i did when i took my exhaust off, if not there only a couple of quid each for exhaust gaskets

The thing to be careful of is not shearing any studs when removing.

Ed is it the same model CBR ? If there are both the fuel injection one. They should go , if one is a carved bike and the other is a FI , I'd say no ....gaskets are dirt cheap , hunts will have them in stock. Yep as per lee the big job is be careful undoing the studs .... Have fun

2000/2001 are carb models as far as im aware think it was 02 when the first injection models came out ( correct me someone if im wrong) looked at the stud heads tonight and there in good clean condition think 24hrs of penetrating fluid should help .just a ruddy car ride to leeds to get them and hope they fit seller doesnt know much ...

The 2001 bike was the first CBR to gain PGM-FI fuel injection as well as new twin headlights, which replaced the old single light look. If yours is a 2001 plate , it's poss it's just a late 2000 model

Good call with the soaking of penetrating fluid.
