Have ya drained and replaed the fuel?? Stood over such a long period of time petrol loses its Octane rating!!
In regards to the NC24 not starting how do you mean? I had an NC24 and had a problem with the regulator/rectifier going. Try charging your battery up overnight and seeing if it'll start then or try bumping it. If that works and the battery dies after 3/4 days it's your reg/rec. Good luck!
for the gsxr, have you checked the rubber hoses on the carbs for cracks? for the honda i'd say the same as carl and d/fish  drain the petrol out and fill with fresh, check your fuel filter isn't clogged . let us know how you get on.
when cleaning carbs i always give to my m8 who gets them sonic waved. gets all the little bits out were you carnt get to(all the little passages). sent mine they went looking dirty and came back looking brand new. Bike fired up first time, i then balanced them and not had a problem with them since. they were of a cbr400
