Nice 1.... i did take it out last night down the widnes by pass to see if the new map on the pc v had made a difference but it was way to icey couldnt open it up.
If OTC doesn't have any space, perhaps Dan at AutoSport North could help. He can do PCV's http://www.autosportnorth.com/ 0151 639 9911
Three sisters, if its the usb mappable one take a laptop and trash around until yoou find a power level that works for ya Cheaper and alot of fun too!
Yeah its a power commander 5 so can be hooked up to a laptop im pretty rubbish on laptops an wouldnt want to blow the bike up for the sake of a few quid. The guy i bought it from put the map on to suit the akra can an filter, ive looked on dynojets site an theres is place called hammer and tongs in warrington might try them as well
try motrac in ellsmere port ..bit of a treck but he is a real pro tuner and has an amazing dyno setup. he charges 150 for a custom map ant tells you exactly whats goin on with ur bike.highly recomended
Yup he's the man to goto mate, highly respected in what he does, racer himself and does a lot out of the "limelight" for some well known and respected sidecar and solo racers, known him for years and wouldn't trust anyone else with my bike. Can I just ask why did you go for the PC V or was it already fitted to the bike when youu bought it? Welcome to the forum btw
I fitted the Akra end can an the f1 light was flashing and it was constantly throwing flames which I don't mind haha plus guys I ride with say they don't half make a difference. So when a new Pcv came up on eBay for £180 I had to have it. I'm going to the isle of man TT next year so trying to mod the bike up as this year when I went it was bog standard
give pete alton a ring as soon as poss mate,i no him well and he is by far the best at setting them up,
I gave pete a ring this afternoon and I gathered what he doesn't know about bikes isn't worth knowing about. What a really nice guy, taking it round either Friday or wednesday had a chin wag about TT aswell. Nice 1 guys for your help being tryin to locate someone like this for a while
