Whats the best methods? I know magnet is one but i really dont think it will get everything.

Bits had smashed off my piston and i didnt see them when stripping it down so i can only presume they are in the bottom end, and no doubt there will be shards of metal in there aswel.

Thinking about flushing it out with oil - any one got any ideas?

    Answering my own question...

Flush it out with petrol, turn the crank a couple of times, turn the engine upside down and hey presto.

the only propper way of doin it m8 is to strip it flushin it through will not guarantee getting everything out cos them bits of metal could be stuck ehind somethin

you get 1 spec of grit left and it will get picked up by the piston and smash the shite outa ya engine again
hope ya redy for a rebuild

It wants the crank taking out of the cases and everything inspected, flushing is not a reliable method as bykerbaz suggested, you will get bits caught in the engine that will not flush out.
