There won't be a reply from Suzuki. I contacted Suzuki GB this morning and asked a few questions. I spoke with Glen Coppock from Customer Relations, gave him my details (including registration number) and was dismayed by his responses: I asked if the email offering free neck tubes was real or a hoax and he replied that it had been sent out by the Suzuki GB marketing team. I then asked when we would receive our neck tubes as several NorthWestBikers forum users had supplied their information in response to the email but hadn't receive a response. Glen Coppock stated "Due to stock availability, Suzuki could not guarantee that everyone would receive a neck tube." I asked if Suzuki GB could provide a comment or an email response so that I could post it to NorthWestBikers.net forum and Glen Coppock stated' "No blanket email or comment would be provided by Suzuki GB. Details of each individual are required, which will be reviewed and chased up with the marketing team on an individual basis" I'm a bit diasappointed considering their email stated: "Hello! Fancy a free Suzuki neck tube? That's right, free! All you need to do is give us a few extra details, so that we can keep you up-to-date with the latest news and offers which are tailored to you. What could be simpler? >CLICK HERE to claim your FREE neck tube" Nowhere on the email offer does it state that people are personally required to follow up their details with Suzuki GB, who will review each enquiry on an individual basis.
Unfortunately I didn't think to ask for his email address and I doubt he would have given it out, and I will be even more surprised if Coppock is his actual surname. I can give you the number I dialled which is free from a landline 0500 011 959 I then selected motorcycles from the menu and then customer services (I think). I suggest people that phone Suzuki GB provide the name Glen Coppock and see what the outcome is, and post their findings.
It was a free neck tube...... I dont own a suzuki and am not that poor I cant buy myself a neck tube so for that reason. ....... im out
Its more about principle. A massive company conning your details for marketing purposes. I dont own a suzuki and ive plenty of neck warmers. But its still worth a shitty email when im bored.
It will be dishonest of Suzuki if people, who supplied their details, aren't provided with neck tubes as advertised. Time will tell.
well i just hope you get get sorted ,,,the main reason I didnt post all my details was for this reason, i firmly believe no one gives anything away for free in Mass.....its a scam to gather your info then send it out to others to pest you with PPI claims and pensions etc etc .. Whats even worse is if they do this ,,THEN DONT SUPPLY THE TUBE ,,thats is just down right untruthful...it makes you wonder when they launch the next superdoooper superbike ,,,will all the Facts about it be true...I somehow dont think they will Kin piss taking twots
they already had my details after asking for a couple of brochures so im at no loss. either way thats it!...if I dont get my free suzuki necktube im never buying a suzuki!
What a bag of shite response! Ill be on to them at some point to see what the crack is, disappointing.
First bit of spam from Suzuki gets printed off and posted off to them in an envelope with no stamp on (they have to pay postage when it arrives) few hundred people doing this might make em think again, wonder how many people gave their details in good faith to get fook all, it's not the price of a neck tube it's the principle behind it
Think Ill ring them tomorrow from work see what happens, will take names etc. Also going to see if they have a complaints department because a large company such as suzuki should really look after there future buyers.... Actually makes me want to buy a honda...
