Fitting new chain

Need to fit my new chain tomorrow - does anyone have a chain splitter i can lend for a day?

 

I know Tom has a grinder? LOL

i dont actually know how u get it on again - not looked at the new chain so dont know if its got a split link or not...will check now

 

its a split link so im ok then - i'll just grind the old one off

 

hiya mate if ya have a paddock stand losen the bolt at the end of the swing arm so u can a just the chain but u will have to find the split link mate it seasy to find mate nonooooo do not put a angle grinder to it mate ill tell u what tell me where u live and ill come up and fit the chain for u mate

 

use the damn grinder

makes life easier, your only grinding off the connection pins, nothing else.

I just took the old split link out, put the new chain on and connected the split link.....gutted i didnt get to use my angle grinder really! :lol:

 

to put chain on connect at the split link then with a pair of pliyers just clip it in you will here it click

oh and good advice there peps talk about spamin jezzz

 

What spam Chadz? We was telling Ben to use a grinder in which if he needed to he happily would have - as you can see above.
