first big bike

    had the bike for a little over a month, just recently passed her MOT and got new front and rear tyres nothing special but condsidering it only cost me less then £1000 to get on the road [inc insurance] im not going to complain haha

    mate you have no fuckin idea haha, chipped to f*ck aswell so think ill get them powdercoated black over the winter months

    really, i filled up £19 amd get less then 120 miles from the tank, saying that i have been keeping the throttle open alot more since i got my confidence haha

    I was getting about 65 to 70 a gallon out the GS500 and about 100 mpg out the GN125

    That was my first big bike too in yellow :) was a bit too big for me tho dropped it trying to turn it round :(

    i found it to be tiny when i first sat on it my TZR 125 4DL felt bigger when i first sat on it, i looked at my dad and said were's the rest of it haha

    lmao! want to swap bikes mate ? i apparently have a 17 liter tank, ill fill her up this week, and have a look at it this weekend when i get some spare time

    That fuel consumption is bad. My Z1000 does more than that. £17 gets me around 120 to 130 on short rides, more on a decent run. You need to get that checked I would say

    :w00t: lmao !!! nice to know it woluld appare i can afford the petrol bills for a bigger bike, im actually laughing at this to be honest can't belive it i thought it was bad not THAT bad haha, think ill defo have a look on weekend i think, i thought i'd expect it to be abit low for age but not THAT low

    On a gs500 Scott it should be over 160miles there commuters and meant to be good on fuel. Something doesn't add up mate

    yeah i know i got the haynes book out haha, dosen't help i cane it like, but still shouldn't be that bad, im thinking carbs out of sync or something :bruised:

    good 'un mate, though i agree, £19 giving 120 miles is probably what my mille would do with a bit of a caning! sommets a bit out, no leaks im guessing lol. looks comfy though !
