This is my dads RD400 track bike project which ran for the fist time at the beginning of this year.

    Spec:
Frame is RD 400 with most of its brackets removed.
Front end is off later Aprilia RS250, rear end Suzuki RGV250.
NKracing modified the frame for the single shock absorber, we fitted the front end.
The RS250 forks and yokes bolted straight on.
Hydraulic clutch from a Kawasaki ZX9R.
Fahron 430 water cooled heads & barrels
Wiseco pistons from a Yamaha TZ 750
34mm Mikuni carbs from an 80's era Yamaha TZ
Total loss ignition from power dynamo
The exhausts are the original ones from fahron he had them made at the university when he was testing.
Engine based on the Yamaha TZ 350.

    left to do:
    fit rear brake
    find some modern looking fairings
    embarrass noobs at oulton park

    Hope you guys like it
    Cheers
    John
