Hi, I had an issue with the alarm (Datatool System 3), immobilising my bike so I decided to cut it out of the loom. Now ive connected all the wires back up and the bike starts and runs ... but when I switch the ignition off the engine still runs. Engine kill switch doesnt do anything either. :S The only way I can stop the engine is to disconnect the battery :doh: Any ideas? or does anyone know a good auto electrician? Rich
No idea. Stalling it might be easier than disconnecting the battery every time though for the time being haha.
get a wiring diagram and see what youve done wrong. the kill switch usually breaks the low tension circuit to the coil but on a fi bike it will cut the fuel pump as well. on mine if i hit the kill switch the FI light comes on.
