Something not right in what he's telling you. If his lowest reading was 35 he would be walking out the building with a paper saying No further action.
There is a hint of reality in what you say Smudge IF it was decided to take a sample of blood. The choice of whether it is a blood or urine sample remains with the officer performing the procedure. There is a cost implication getting a medical practitioner to take a blood sample. I always requested the subject to provide a urine sample. Much quicker in most cases. Or you could say I was taking the piss lol
