It always baffels me how it can be seen as a skill ?
Playing someone else's creation that hardly took any skill to produce in the first place
Now if she had hold of a guitar or was playing another instrument I might be impressed

have you ever tried it ? it is not as easy as it may look to get the finished result in sounding as fluid as that.
hell i could be wrong, i only spent 11 years working clubs every weekend and after countless hours and hours of practice and work, i would still wouldn't get anything as fluid and flaw free as that. regardless of the material used.

I met Lisa Lashes some years back in Ibiza- that girl can DJ I tell thee. Looks like saucery & witchcraft to me. The mind boggles how you can mix without headphones

Try mixing without a spoon, you get stuff all over your hands

Honestly, once you know the material is not so bad, BPM is just part of it, the volume and depth of the beat plays a big part, some works some doesn't its easy to rectify by hand quickly (or was back in my day with a real record and not these CDJ things)
but to be honest Tractor and all this other stuff, while clearly achieving great results does take the fun and risk element away somewhat.
nothing worse than a galloping horse in front of 1500 people lol and your ears are telling you faster but booth speakers and headphones say slower.

yes I have more than tried it , I started back in the late 80s with cheap belt driven decks ,then a few years later moved onto a set of technics wich I used then added a pair of technics cdj's that I didn't rate so got pioneer cdj's instead
I just find it strange how people idolise DJ,s when it's a fairly easy skill to master

fair enough, however to "master the skill" as you put it is like comparing being able to ride a bike and being someone like rossi isn't it
Some of these guys and galls at the top of their game demonstrate being a cut above the rest - and make a seriously good living from it and good for them.

I remember Carl cox staying at a hotel I was running and paying for his room out of a sack of cash I'd imagine you don't get paid like that if you're not a bit special at what you do.
