Hello there. Ive got a 99 zx6r. Just been serviced etc. But. Not sure if its just in damp comditions or because its cold etc. But say if i drive from my house to petrol station or where ever. When i stop n turn it off it dont start again. Got to leave it for about half an hour before i can get it going again. Any ideas whats going on?
sounds like an air block somewhere …id return it back to the person who serviced it ..stating this never happened before ..dont be aggressive etc ,just explain nice and calmly and I'm sure they will sort it out
Cheers. Not sure if the tank was up or not. It did it once before on the way to the service. Not sure if it just needs a good blast out. Over the past 3 months ive only done about 10 miles and other than that its just sat in my garage. Not looking after it propper. Silly fukin billy lol
Worth checking the condition of the battery, check voltage when ignition off. Then when you try to start it, if the voltage drops below 10volts there's your problem.
Its not starting at all. And doesnt even let me try for long before going dead. Suppose i need to test the chuffing battery. Will get a tester on it.
Fookin ell. Just gone to look at the battery and both the cables going to it were loose as hell. Greeced them up and put em on tite n hey presto it starts well again.
I'd take a basic bike maintanence course....might help you eliminate the basics, pretty sure this is about the third VERY basic problem you've had
