Right I'm knocking this one on the head lads, the weather isn't looking too good and I'm up for work at 5am. Think I'm going to stay local, maybe have a run upto Preston way VIA the twisties and stop at Southport for a chippy at the cara. Feel free to post up if you want to join in.
Think we're just waiting for Martin to let us know when he's finished work & then when & where to meet, then meeting up with me & then heading over to Daz's. However, it is absolutely chucking it down here at the mo :thumbdown: Daz assures me that the roads will be dry by 4pm though ..... so have got the textiles out on the bed ready to get changed into, but if it's still raining when Martin calls, I’m sure I’ll be out in this weather .

Well not long got back & put the bike away, had a fantastic time this evening. Even if it did start a little late due to someone's bike falling apart on the way to meet me, then us getting slightly lost to meet Daz (*holds hands up for that mistake & taking the exit too early*), but what a ride. Those roads over were a little scary when the gravel surface sprung up, esp when the back end stepped out twice, loved the roads just before we got there & then all the roads on the way back. Would like to do that route a few more times & get even more confidence, need to practice my cornering more. Am finding I’m thinking I’m going in too hot, so applying the break a little & then finding that the corner isn’t as tight as I thought & I could have got away with it ...... albeit, there was 2 corners I did admittedly go in a little too hot, but my concentration was broken on both occasion by a noisy VTR bearing down my right hand side !! Think I’ll order just some chips next time, that special deal was a little too big for my little tummy .... need to keep my slim figure :lol: So ..... when's the next one boys ??!!!!
Martin, your chain didnt come off again did it? :russian_roulette: I already posted here about going out somewhere this weekend, so if you do whatever route you did tonight again, then ill be up for it, especially Sunday as the mrs is going out to ride some horse somewhere so I have the whole day all to myself.
cheeky mare - that's music. & dont worry about me right on your ass... i got your line. i always do that tbh, you will get used to it lol but you should ride with us more. and please ecuse me when i nail off when we hit the bends! dunno what happened to crazy arse & bass on the way back.... hung on for a while but figured they took a different route? got some good vid of the quick bits... for some reason it just wouldnt review on the camera screen. maybe cos battery wasnt charged? uploading atm but it takes ages. and i need to stick a corn plaster over the mic cos theres still some wind noise, but hardly surprising. zig you missed a cracking ride mate, bone dry roads, similar to the mountain route you & your kid did with us last time. cheers for being pathfinder again daz! & yeh... i'll be out tomorrow all being well and sunday pm. the rest of you - come along next time, was good fun (and very nice fish n chips!) chain didnt snap lol, i filled up at petrol station and noticed the bolts had rattled out of the subframe so had to nip back home to sort it and left the others waiting for me for a hr lol - sorry!!!
